Apron Feeders
The Titan AFM is a MechProTech OEM product and is manufactured in-house at our workshop in Benoni, South Africa.
The Titan Apron design includes the following:
- A robust track chain segmented impact resistance steel top bed feeder plate with replaceable slats for easy plant maintenance and repair
- Support roller on feeder bed with integrated subframe
- Torsion set belt scraper at the head pulley
- Spring tension tail-end take-up rollers
- Support frame housing subframe and feeder bed c/w guards and greasing points for services
- Single location greasing point for ease of lubricating
- Bearings Lifetime sealed chain slat support rollers to ensure low maintenance
- Feeder using VSD technology allows for varying speeds under different process conditions and, thus, optimisation of the process
- Our standard designs allow for greater spares flexibility, and we supply spares with significant cost and lead-time benefits
- Priming of all surfaces using Zincodic Zinc-based epoxy primer and topcoat ( ISO 2944 C5 VH) and (ISO 12944 IM# 4000hrs) Proprietary colours and Paint spec.
Push Feeders
We know that each industry and application has its own set of needs. As a result, we tailored the push feeder to match appropriate material characteristics and process requirements,
The MPT Push Feeder maintains a steady and controlled material flow .
The feeder assembly consists of various components, including the support structure, which is a heavy-duty welded steel structure bolted to the bin support structure. This structure is machined to align the support rollers and has machined pads with slotted holes for adjusting the feeder plate’s position in the horizontal plane. It transmits feeder forces through the rollers to the support structure. The push feeder plate, made of machined and hardened steel, supports the process material in the bin and transmits it to the support rollers. It also transmits cylinder force to push the material out of the bin and into the barrel. Additionally, replaceable hardened steel liners are bolted to the push feeder plate to protect it from wear and impact damage.
Pan Feeders
The MPT pan feeder has a heavy-duty welded steel support structure.
The Pan Feeder is installed on mechanical springs and it is ilined with hardwearing VRN liners.
